熱呼呼蛋餅



吃了兩個多月的西式早餐,優格果醬麥片葡萄乾,說實在的有點膩了。於是在幾天前,做了道地的玉米火腿起司蛋餅,好好吃,有感動到!接下來還想嘗試牛肉麵,蘿蔔糕,叉燒燒肉飯,哇阿阿!

蛋餅皮材料,去鴻發找了做水餃的已過篩麵粉(4tb),混入太白粉(1tb),比例約為4:1,加入125ml水,一點鹽巴,就會成白色糊狀物了。

很蘋果醬的一天



之前去Knut家摘的蘋果總算變身了,昨天花了好些時間削皮切塊,加糖後持續煮滾攪拌,直到有黏黏稠稠的感覺。最後呢,裝入玻璃罐裡冰起來,慢慢享用!

沒有電鍋的日子



世界上最好的大同電鍋沒有在瑞典銷售,不過沒關係,還是可以煮白米飯。上個星期去鴻發買了筍乾和空心菜(怎麼那麼愛吃空心菜?因為好吃啊!),今天嘴饞了想要有123(新竹市區一家超鹹超好吃的餐廳)的味道,但沒有電鍋怎麼辦?索性把米放在小鍋子,把小鍋子放入另一個大點的鍋子裡,各加一些水,一點點油在小的裡面以免黏鍋,蓋上蓋子開始煮,也忘了計算多久時間,不過,做出來的米飯還挺有模有樣的,比不上電鍋煮出來的好,但卻不會糊糊的像粥,還有點QQ喔!

沒有電鍋的日子,還是挺好的。不過我想,過陣子還是要去買一個吧!

Being here



Sometimes I wonder why I don't miss old things or old places. Not so many things could pull me off from moving to a new place. Maybe it's because I haven't found a place where I'd love to settle down. Settle down as to live at a place for many years. I've never felt homesick, but I do miss some parts of Taiwan. Food was the only thing that made me feel sad about, but I got over it eventually.

Where we live now is a quite quiet community where not much happens during daytime. It feels like driving in the countryside while passing by some areas from downtown. I really really like it here.
